it’s been well noted that cw’s stylista has some issues.  anne slowey is a little, um, over the top, and oddly doesn’t seem to be able to walk well in heels.  the breakfast food challenge from the season premiere was amusingly lame, and why are the contestants doing layout with glue sticks when they have macbook pros in front of them?  i’m no industry insider but i can’t believe this is the way things are done.  feel free to correct me if i’m wrong, but it seems like basic computer literacy and design skills should be a pre-requisite for working at a major magazine.  however, all that being said, it does combine two things i love- bad reality tv, and a (brief) glimpse at kate lamphear’s style.  in honor of that, here’s some of my favorite images of her.  she epitomizes the low-key fab look that we love here at two months rent.  she’s proof that with some well thought out accessories, just about anything can look amazing.  and by the way, my prediction for the winner would be johanna.  she clearly seems to be the most fashion forward, and is the creator of the cool (now defunct) blog, a serious job is no excuse.
