i think i can easily say that bela borsodi creates the most unusual still life photography that i’ve seen.  the two that i picked here are actually really tame for him, but i specifically love these for how he reinterprets such recognizable symbols as the hermes box and the chanel 2.55.  he received a lot of attention recently for the “foot fetish” editorial that ran in v magazine.  at once porn, fabulous shoes and dada, it’s definitely one you’ll remember.   there’s an interesting interview with him on pingmag where he goes into his intention behind the work.  you can see all of foot fetish on borsodi’s site under the editorial I section.  other fun things you can see there include balloons made to look like pop icons including ziggy stardust, naughty cartoons, and a whole bunch of other crazy stuff that defies description.
