what do you get when the addicted to love video girls and edie sedgwick meet for a drink in an s&m bar? besides the obvious answer, awesomeness, have a look at mark fast’s spring 09 collection.  it also kind of reminds me of elizabeth hurley in that safety pin versace dress.  although it combines the holy trinity of risque attire- short, tight and see through, it strikes me as oddly wearable.  this is his first collection since graduating central martins last year.  he knits everything by hand on a domestic knitting machine and said of his work “i believe that there is a growing attention to craftmanship in fashion these days, as opposed to quick-fix disposable pieces. i am focusing on timeless classics.”
