i’ve never really been excited about september in terms of school starting and all that, but i do always really look forward to the massive fall magazines.  i’ve been trying to wane my addiction, but i feel like september is my last valid excuse to just go for it…  i can say that my feelings toward fashion in general have been a little lackluster lately, but i’m starting to stockpile the fall mags, and am hoping to find some new and exciting inspiration.   in the meantime i’ve been feeling a little wistful for my old art school uniform of paint covered jeans and t-shirts, and have been looking to inspiration from other sources.  the selby’s tour of robert longo’s studio has been supplying me with fantasies of forgetting fashion entirely, and just getting dirty and making things.
